There’s only a short seasonal window of opportunity for Baked Pear and Plum Crumble, but when the dates align, my goodness is it worth it. The sweetness of the pear, with the tartness of the plum makes this dessert one of a kind. When preparing this dessert, I recommend always using black plums over red…
Looking for a sweet treat without the added sugar and refined carbohydrates? This delicious gluten free banana bread is the perfect option. Prepare as a single loaf or make some delicious banana bread muffins, whichever you choose, one thing is for sure, they won’t last long!
I was scrolling through social media the other day and saw that someone had made black bean brownies. I won’t lie, I was intrigued but I put it to the back of my mind. Later that week I saw that someone made sweet potato brownies and I knew I could no longer ignore it. In…
When I was modelling, I would have to watch what I ate for obvious reasons however; each Friday I had to myself, I would head down to the most beautiful bakery in Sydney and order the most delicious gluten-free carrot cupcake with a cup of loose leaf chai tea. I’d sit in the window and…
Last summer, our niece came to stay with us over Christmas. Being the good host that I was, I decided to use this opportunity gather some (brutally) honest 4-year-old feedback on a number of my recipes. These creamy chocolate popsicles, were a clear winner and can honestly say that I felt her pain when she had to “share” the last one with her Dad (tears all round). This delicious recipe is gluten free, dairy free and free from all refined sugars.
One of the quickest ways to satisfy a chocolate craving, only this dessert is rich in healthy fats, vitamin K, vitamin B6, biotin and folate. Better yet, no one will guess it’s healthy!
One of my fondest memories of Anzac day is the time spent with my Grandma. Anzac Day meant it was time to make Anzac Biscuits. All 3 of us would crowd around her kitchen bench and help her bake. Whilst in this instance I have strayed a little from my Grandma’s traditional Anzac Biscuits recipe (in a bid to create a healthier alternative), they still taste delicious (and are often gobbled up before I even have a chance to dig in myself). One recipe is made with whole food ingredients and the other is a GF, DF, gooey Paleo alternative. I hope you all enjoy!
A quick and simple breakfast recipe made using real food ingredients and low-GI, Gluten Free Brown Rice. Going GF at breakfast never tasted so good.
