More often than not our goals for the new year will include something along the lines of “get healthier” or of course “lose weight”. Whilst I am forever in support of these goals, I believe a lot of us go to hard too quickly and as a result, end up falling off the bandwagon come the end of Jan or early Feb. For this reason I have compiled a list of 12 healthy habits for 2015, all of which you can tick off one month at time. This means that by the end of 2015, not only will you have achieved your goal of “adopt a healthier lifestyle”, you will look great, feel amazing whilst all in all, crossing 12 health challenges off your “to-do” list. October has arrived and this means we are well and truly into the months of Spring. As we move further into the season, a number of new fruits and vegetables become readily available and this means a whole lot easier on the hip pocket – especially the organic ones! Today I have included the vegetables and fruits available during the months of October. Just reading over their health benefits, reinforces why it is so important to have a diet rich in cancer-fighting, anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory fruits and vegetables. Eat ‘em up!
