Last week, the Australian Traveller Magazine compiled a list of Australia’s top 10 Farmer’s Markets. Whilst I’ll admit that I was a little excited to see that my local market made it into the top 10, I soon realised that there was a number of great markets that unfortunately had been omitted. Before too long, I noticed that I wasn’t the only one who was a little disappointed, other passionate foodies felt the same. Before too long, I decided that I needed to rectify this problem so I put it to my readers and I have compiled a list of Australia’s favourite farmer’s markets, as voted by you!
I have no doubt that this list will continue to grow so please, if I have missed your favourite, please comment below. Don’t forget that we want this list to be a list of markets that inspires people to shop at their local farmer’s market, so please be sure to consider whether or not your market stock organic produce and what is it that you love most about your local? In doing so, I’ll make sure they are added to the list and we can share the Aussie farmer’s market love amongst a greater community.

This is a great summary, I love farmers markets. Unfortunately we never really get down to Melbourne, but you have inspired me to at least try!
Thanks Jess! I hope you’ve made it to at least one of the amazing farmer’s markets around town 🙂 They are worth the journey 🙂 x
I love farmer’s markets! I’ll be adding some of these suggestions to the list of organic shopping in Perth I already use 🙂
Great to hear Jordon! xx
