Ever considered making your own Mexican Seasoning?
I avoid like to avoid as many additives and preservatives as I can. This means subbing out the store-bought Mexican seasonings and making my own – you can read more about this here. Today on the blog, I share my recipe. It’s incredibly simple and tastes exactly like the store bought variety (if not better ;)).

- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt

Instructions
- Combine all of the above ingredients in a small bowl. Toss together to combine and use as you would use normal pre-packaged seasoning. The above amount applies to approximately 600g grass-fed, free-range protein.
STILL CAN’T BE BOTHERED?
I’ve included some brands of pre-packaged organic seasoning that I have used in the past. They are more expensive than making your own, but they require less prep on your part:
