MYO Mexican Seasoning

Ever considered making your own Mexican Seasoning?

I avoid like to avoid as many additives and preservatives as I can. This means subbing out the store-bought Mexican seasonings and making my own – you can read more about this here. Today on the blog, I share my recipe. It’s incredibly simple and tastes exactly like the store bought variety (if not better ;)).

MYO Mexican Seasoning
  • 1 tsp. chilli flakes more, if you like it spicy
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon optional
  1. Combine all of the above ingredients in a small bowl. Toss together to combine and use as you would use normal pre-packaged seasoning. The above amount applies to approximately 600g grass-fed, free-range protein.
