Here’s to the Real Champions

I love feedback. Whether it is positive or constructive, I love to hear it.

Last week however, I received a whole lot of positive feedback that really made me smile. It reinforced why I do what I do and why I love it so much.

Last weekend, my partner was interstate on a work trip, where he was approached by a reader of mine called Steve*. Steve told Andrew that he had lost 25kgs from following my blog, cooking from my ebooks and implementing real-food changes into his life. This blew my mind and had me smiling from ear to ear.

Whilst I love seeing clients grow and change, hearing stories where ‘An Apple a Day’ has changed the lives of people I have never even met, really makes the hours spent writing blog posts and newsletters each week completely worth it.

It’s funny, people always ask me who inspires me and I list a few nutrition heavy weights and my amazing mentors, but this week my answer changed. It’s people like Steve who inspire me and for that, I am forever grateful.

I wanted to dedicate this blog post to Steve, and all the others out there like him. Change habits can be a difficult and often lonely task, but he has come out the other side, and is reaping the rewards. He has quite literally turned his life around and for that, he should be incredibly proud.
